Jorge suggested replacing the carpet with (waterproof) luxury vinyl planks, and gave great advice on what type to look for and what to avoid. Not only did he fix it, it looks 1000% better than it did before. He only replaced the damaged floorboards and matched them perfectly to existing floor. We highly recommend this company, it is small but they did an amazing job with our floors. They installed hardwoods in my master bedroom and refinished my entrance hallway, kitchen and living room. We had already picked; and almost ordered some prefinished hardwoods we liked for our bedroom but after our initial meeting we decided to follow his advice and go for the unfinished woods so the stain color is all uniform throughout the house. Hardwood floors bought and installed by others were defective at milling. Floors had raised edges that were very uncomfortable to walk and the ends did not butt up to each other properly. I really liked the original color. Jorge at Dust Free Wood Floor Solutions did a wonderful job to make our floors the way they should have been when they were installed last year. He sanded them, filled gaps, and applied finish to nearly identical original finish. He arrived on time and worked diligently to make sure we were satisfied with everything. It really is nearly dust free sanding with his Bona sander and equipment. After sanding roughly 900 square feet of flooring the dust was virtually non existent. I was in an adjoining room without a door to block dust. His wife and young worker were also part of his team and contributed to a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them. We never thought our floors could turn out as well as they did after walking on the raised seams for a year.
